Ocean Eden Bay Resort & Spa

Janeika and Carl selected Curt at My Travels Guy LLC to arrange their destination wedding. The event moved from Breathless Montego Bay after hurricane damage closed that property for repairs.

The celebration

A private welcome cocktail gathering was planned for Friday afternoon, followed by a sunset ceremony at 5:00pm and dinner reception on Saturday. Guests were encouraged to arrive April 1 and depart April 5, or arrive April 2 and depart April 6. Ocean Eden Bay is an adults-only resort on the seafront near Montego Bay, with access to the neighbouring Ocean Coral Spring resort.

Guest travel details

The resort offered 13 restaurants, five bars and lounges, plus access to additional dining and bars next door. Wedding guests received 20% off spa services and 10% off spa products.

Guests were advised to stay a minimum of four nights. Curt negotiated rates 15–20% below the resort's regular rates. The adults-only resort allowed no more than three adults in a king or double-bed suite.

Archived room categories

The published nightly double-occupancy rates were: Jr Suite Garden View $481; Jr Suite Pool View $495; Jr Suite Ocean View $517; Swim Up Jr Suite $594; Privilege Jr Suite Ocean Front $635; Privilege Swim Up Jr Suite $683. The Privilege Swim Up Jr Suite Ocean Front was sold out.

The booking process requested a preferred room category and king or double beds, followed by a quote and secure card authorisation within 24 hours. A $500 minimum deposit applied, with the balance due March 24. Airport transfers were included in quotes; flight help and offsite excursions were available. Travel insurance was recommended.

Guests with reservations at the original Breathless Montego Bay location were directed to modify their confirmation or call 1-800-720-0051 for a full refund after the venue closure.
